Frameworks

When we analyze a web development project, we look at
2 main questions
:

Should we develop it from scratch?

Should we use readymade codes or a Framework?

Sometimes it makes sense in not re-inventing the wheel. You don’t have all the time in the world to create a Youtube, Wikipedia or a Facebook. But you do have a specialized niche or specific improvement in your idea. That’s when we will advice to get started quickly by selecting a Good Framework or a readymade CMS.

Frameworks are similar to software libraries in that they are re-useable abstractions of code wrapped in a well-defined API. Unlike libraries, however, the overall program's flow of control is not dictated by the caller, but by the framework. This inversion of control is the distinguishing feature of software frameworks.

The aim of a Framework is to facilitate software development by allowing programmers to spend more time on meeting software requirements rather than dealing with the more standard low-level details of providing a working system.

Sometimes understanding Frameworks takes up time and also leads to Code Bloat. We avoid this by training our staff at our costs, eliminating the Frozen spots and adding hot spots or our own code for specific functionality requirements.

Some of the Frameworks on which we have worked are RAD, Codeigniter, Rails, ZEND, OSCommerce, Joomla, Mambo, Moodle, Typo3, eZ Publish, SugarCRM, DotNetNuke, Xcart, Netsuite etc.

We have also successfully integrated shopping carts and payments gateways like Paypal, Google Checkout, Authorize.net, Bank of America, Ebay, Verisign, Thawte, Geotrust etc.
